Meet The Team

Sarah has enjoyed working in the dental field since high school and has been trained by many great dental professionals during her career. As a Registered Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator, she has had the opportunity to learn about different dental needs from many cultures worldwide. Rock Valley is her home along with her husband Jeff and their family. She is excited to be serving her community! 

Mary has been working in the dental field for the past 34 years. She enjoys all different aspects of her job, but especially interacting with our great patients every day. Mary and her husband, Dave, spend most of their spare time with family and friends. They have 3 married children and 9 grandchildren. They love warm weather activities; camping, motorcycle riding, bicycle riding, and just being outdoors. Mary tries to live a healthy and active lifestyle and is thankful everyday for all the blessings in her life.

Holli has been working in the dental field for 37 years in Rock Valley.  She and her husband, Bill, live in Doon.  Holli considers herself blessed by getting to know many patients through the years.  Her goal each day is to treat each patient as family.  She enjoys biking, scrap-booking, and spending time with family.

Krysta Spans joined our office Feb. of 2021. She graduated from West Lyon High School in 2020 and is working towards getting her Certified Dental Assistant degree. Krysta enjoys working and caring for our patients here at Rock Valley Dental. Krysta lives in Alvord, IA with her parents and younger brother. When Krysta isn’t in the office she likes to go running and spend time with her family and friends.

Jessica is one of the smiling faces you can’t help but notice in our office. She joined our team as a dental assistant in 2023, and she is a daily beacon of positivity and joy every day for our patients and staff. Jessica lives on a farm close to Hull, Iowa with her husband, Darren, and four children, Rielly, Ashlynn, Breckken, and Kenzlee. Jessica is also an EMT for the Hull Ambulance Crew, which speaks well to the type of person she is. In Jessica’s free time, she enjoys being outdoors, gardening, and spending time with all the farm animals. Jessica always enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
